Nokia has unveiled the successor model of their highly successful business phone E72, and is named as E6 which comes with 2.46 inch touch screen functionality. Nokia has made a successful entry of their latest Symbian update ‘Anna’ through this business smartphone E6. It is the Nokia’s first device running on the new Symbian Anna OS. And this phone is also considered as the first Nokia phone with ‘QWERTY Keypad + Touch Screen’ feature. E6 is mainly focusing on Blackberry lovers. E6 comes with 600 MHz ARM II processor with 2D/3D graphics accelerator. TFT capacitive touchscreen with 640×480 pixels is used in its 2.46 inch display. It has an inbuilt internal storage memory of 8 GB and supported up to 32 GB (Micro SD) external memory. Symbian’s latest update Anna is used to get a perfect software platform. Java runtime 2.2 and HTML 4.1 are added for a better user interface. Nokia E6 has an 8 mega pixel camera which supports up to 2x digital zoom. A secondary VGA camera is also included for video calling. 3G features 102 Mbps speed for HSDPA and 2 Mbps for HSUPA. BP-4L 1500 mAh battery is used in this business model which delivers a maximum talk time of 14h 48min in GSM and 7h 30min in CDMA. Standby time is 681h for GSM service and 744h for CDMA. Other supported features are GPRS/EDGE Class B, WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 and Micro USB v2.0. Dimensions of E6 are 115.5x59x10.5mm and weighs about 133g.

Price of Nokia smartphone E6 is approximately €340 and hopefully it will be available in the mobile phone stores on second quarter of 2011.
