A few days before Apple released their latest iOS version 5 in the annual World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) held at San Francisco. This time Apple has came up with a lot new exciting features. Here are the brief list of newly added iOS 5 features.
- Notification Center
For making the UI a better one, All the notifications can be put together under a single place.
- NewsStand
Subscription magazines can be placed in NewsStand and it’ll also enable background download.
For better twitter execution, This time Apple makes it more useful for he iOS users.
- Safari Web Browser
A lot more features has been integrated to perform browsing more exciting. Tab browsing is pretty useful with the faster tab switching feature.
- Reminder
Reminders can be auto synchronized with iCal over CalDev.
- Camera
Pinch to zoom option within the camera itself and the volume up key can be used to take pictures. Locking screen can be easily done through the newly added shortcut.
Switch-to-inbox feature is enabled for iPad. Search the entire message and Flag message support has also been added.
- PC Free
Does not require a PC for the software updates.
- Game Center
50 million game center users are already for Apple. And now it’s been better with iOS 5.
- iMessage
This is a newly added messaging service and it’s featured for iOS users.
- Airplay Mirroring
Entire iOS device can be mirrored to television wirelessly and WiFi synchronization can be done to iTunes.
