Nokia has officially announced N9, their first MeeGo device this year. Nokia’s latest design innovations and smartphone technology have been integrated perfectly in the MeeGo device. Instead of Home key feature, In Nokia N9, a new idea comes as an alternate, which is ’a swipe’. If you are running an application, you can easily go back to your home screem by a simple swipe at the edge of the display. The body part is made up of poly-carbonate materials and the laminated black display makes it more user friendly. N9 provides a faster access to all important things through its three home views of the user interface. So you can easily get notified when there is any Facebook or twitter notifications.

Nokia’s MeeGo machine comes with a 3.9 inch AMOLED touch screen display which has a pixel resolution of 480×854. The screen is made up of scratch resistant curved glass. Nokia offers a better voice quality and a better reception with the superior performance of its antenna. This smartphone comes with two memory choices, 16 GB & 64 GB and provides a RAM of 1 GB in both. 8 megapixel camera with Carls Ziess auto-focus sensor is spotted at the back which supports 720p video recording. Dimensions are 116.45×61.2×7.6-12.1 mm and weighs about 135 gms. N9′s battery delivers a backup time of 50 hours for music and about 4.5 hours for video. Other specifications like Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Orientation Sensor, Light Sensor, AV Connector, Micro SIM slot are also included in Nokia N9.
